Year 11 Hales student, Georgia Galloway, was delighted to bring home the gold medal following a Gymnastics competition. During the invite only competition, held at the Hollington Gymnastics Club in Hastings, Georgia performed her acrobatic gymnastics routine with her partner, Jess, who is 9 years old. Taking on another twelve pairs of girls, Georgia and Jess were both ecstatic to win the top medal. Georgia said “I love gymnastics and the training – which I do three times a week. I train with Swifts Gymnastics at Swallows Leisure Centre in Sittingbourne and have been doing this for 10 years”. Mrs Palmer said “I was lucky that Georgia showed me the video of her and Jess performing in the competition. What an amazing amount of balance and strength both girls have – no wonder they took the gold!”.
