Easter Fundraising A Hit With The Staff And Children

Kindness and generosity are two qualities shown in abundance by a group of students who organised a cake sale and raffle just before Easter.

Kindness and generosity are two qualities shown in abundance by a group of students who organised a cake sale and raffle just before Easter. The cake sale was a huge success with cookies, cupcakes and biscuits sold during break time on Thursday 4th April. The students, Emilie Weller, Georgia Holland, Chloe Reeves and Katie Ruffles also arranged for a hamper filled with Easter goodies to be raffled off bringing the grand total raised to £199.50 in support of the RSPCA. The RSPCA were incredibly thankful, tweeting a message of support to the students and the 1st prize winner, Mrs Walker, was more than pleased to accept the hamper saying “I never win anything but bought a number of tickets as the charity is such a special one. My children will love me even more now!”
