Adaani Battles Mud Combined With Gales To Raise Awareness Of Importance Of Fitness.

Morrison student Adaani Gosling travelled all the way to Kettering to take part in an endurance obstacle course event

Morrison student Adaani Gosling travelled all the way to Kettering to take part in an endurance obstacle course event along with her whole family. Adaani’s Mum believes that it is important to support and have an appreciation of health, fitness and sport which is why she took Adaani, her husband and twin sons, both 11, to the event. The idea is that participants complete as many laps of the 5k course within 8 hours and involves running, climbing and jumping through mud, rivers, monkey bars and climbing walls. Last year Adaani, a Year 8 student, managed a magnificent 20km but, sadly, the weather took its toll and, after a still incredible 10km, the race was cancelled. Gale force winds and sideways rain made it almost impossible for the runners but Adaani did it with a smile on her face. She said “It was dreadful weather but next year hopefully I can beat my record”. Well done Adaani!
