Fulston Manor Raise Money For Children In Need
There were various events such as a 5-a-side staff football match and students were allowed to wear silly socks and stick on Pudsey spots to faces or uniforms. There were cake sales throughout the day and quite a few students did sponsored silences from 9.00am until 3.00pm. Mrs Palmer, Community Cohesion Manager, surprised everyone, not least her own family, by completing a full 24 hour silence. As anyone who knows Mrs Palmer, this was no mean feat and she has personally raised in excess of £300. At the time of going to press the full total is unknown but Fulston is delighted to announce that it will definitely be over £1000 which will go towards Children in Need. Mr Brookes, headteacher, said “Here at Fulston Manor we are yet again proud to be supporting another fantastic charity and we look forward to announcing the final total in due course”
