Kent Schools’ Swimming Championships
On the Saturdays of 21st and 28th January, Fulston Manor School competed in the Kent Schools’ Swimming Championships. The junior (Years 7-9) and intermediate (Years 10 & 11) individual competitors and relay teams were expertly coached and managed by Mr Koets, swimming coach, and father of Margo, a Year 7 student from Hales. He was kindly assisted by Mr Coveney and Mrs Davies, parents of competitors Amy Coveney and Rhys Davies.
It has been reported that all of our competitors did themselves and the school extremely proud; whilst not wanting to single out any individual for praise, special mention must go to Caitlin Thomas for stepping in at the last moment to replace a student who was ill.
