Accommodation and Resources:
Three well-equipped rooms, with paper-based and IT resources
Key Stage 4 Curriculum:
The courses at KS4 are both heavily based on the practical study of businesses and how they work. The different areas within a business are studied such as Marketing, Sales, Production, Finance and Human Resources.
Key Stage 5 Curriculum:
There are two pathways post-16 within Business Studies. The first pathway is on the GCE Applied Business. It's aims are for students to understand and apply learning within the business environment, elements of business management, human resources and marketing.
The second pathway is following the OCR National Level 2 Business. This qualification covers a wide range of business topics ranging from promotions, communication and finance.
Extended Opportunities For Learning:
To ensure that the subject is kept up to date with current business practices, there are visits to a wide variety of business sectors and in-school opportunities to experience some elements of the business world.
