Accommodation and Resources: 

Five dedicated teaching rooms, a well-stocked school library and access to laptop computers.

Key Stage 3 Curriculum:

At Key Stage 3, students will have access to a wide range of activities and improve on a wide range of skills.  They will lay the technical groundwork in spelling, grammar and punctuation to allow them to write with accuracy and confidence.  They will also experience a range of literature and be given the opportunity to write in a variety of styles.

Key Stage 4 Curriculum:

The aims of both English and English Literature courses at Key Stage 4 are to develop the students' ability to use English effectively and accurately in written and oral contexts and to introduce the students to a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts. All students will take both English and English literature at GCSE level.

Key Stage 5 Curriculum:

The aim of the Key Stage 5 curriculum is to develop students' ability to use English effectively and accurately in written and oral contexts, and to appreciate a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts.
