6th Formers Show True Meaning Of Community Spirit

Four 6th Form girls were in the right place, at the right time, when they spotted an elderly lady collapse and fall into bushes outside of Fulston.

Four 6th Form girls were in the right place, at the right time, when they spotted an elderly lady collapse and fall into bushes outside of Fulston. Rushing to her aid, Georgia Griffiths, Chloe Savage, Demi Hogben-Gray and Chloe Wright helped make the lady comfortable and then called our First Aider, Mrs Bourne, who made sure she did not need further medical intervention. The helpful group took the unwell woman into the school reception and a taxi was called to take her home. Chloe Wright said “It was quite scary but we worked as a team and helped the lady recover and get home. Everyone was involved in the ‘’rescue mission!”. Head of 6th Form Miss Davies is, quite rightly, very proud of her Year 12s saying, “The four girls were certainly cool in a crisis and did exactly the right thing to help this poorly lady. They have since seen her walking about the area so know she is OK which is good for them to know. I cannot praise them enough”.
