Year 8 Stanhope student, Poppy, qualified and took part in the ADFP (Association of Dance & Freestyle Professionals) Championships over the weekend 9-10^th June in Hayling Island. There were over 100 dancers taking part and Poppy, who competed in the U14 category, was more than delighted to take 1^st place in one of her solo’s, 2^nd in another, 6^th in her final dance and 3^rd in her duo dance. Although exhausted after such a hectic weekend Poppy said “It was a really fun weekend and I am very happy with the outcome. I got to bring home lots of trophies!”.
