Hair Loss Is A Positive Thing For Freya

Freya had been thinking for many years on how she could help others when a young girl at her Primary school suffered from the hair loss condition, alopecia.

Freya had been thinking for many years on how she could help others when a young girl at her Primary school suffered from the hair loss condition, alopecia. Roll on to present day and Freya, who is in Hales House, decided that she would donate her long hair to the Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. Freya had 15” of her hair cut off by her hairdresser Amy and says “I feel like my head is really light! I am so happy to have been able to help somebody else. I am lucky that I have a full head of hair and know if I want to grow it again it will be easy. It’s not that simple for many people”. Freya is truly an inspiration.
