Poppy Clayton was delighted to be crowned 2017 Junior Miss Invicta Kent at a ceremony in Deal on Saturday 15th April. The Stanhope student had to undergo a series of interviews with the judging panel and stood down from her last title of Junior Miss Sheppey Princess to be able to take the crown. Poppy said “There was a big party and I knew I was in the top three but didn’t realise I would end up taking the title and having two princesses by the end of the evening. I love every second of being part these events and, as this is now a higher court, I will be joining carnivals in Essex as well as Kent. I have a very exciting year ahead of me I think”.
