We are looking to recruit a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work within our Multi Academy Trust. Applicants should have a sound understanding of SEND students, have at least a level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification and hold the necessary HLTA qualification.

The successful candidate will join a team in a busy environment and will require someone with a calm and professional disposition. You will need to be flexible, reliable and have a professional approach towards your work where duties include supervising the learning that takes place within the classroom and administering the work set by subject teachers who are absent. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, however you will also need to be able to work independently and organise your time. You will be responsible for working each day with students placed into the school’s alternative provision on a long-term basis and so the ability to form positive working relationships and support students to make progress is paramount.

Fulston Manor is a high performing school which enjoys an enviable reputation for both academic achievement and the quality of pastoral care.

The role is an immediate requirement within the Trust. If you are interested and would like to apply please complete the school’s application form and send this in to Suzanne Francis, Trust HR & Business Director with a covering letter (email acceptable) to [email protected] Applications by CV or via agency will not be accepted.
