Salary: £10 per hour  

Hours: Approximately 200 hours per year

Contract Status: Permanent

Fulston Manor Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed individual to the role of Clerk to the Fulston Manor School Governors and Fulston Manor Academies Trust Strategic Board.

This is a key role to provide advice and guidance to the trustee board on governance, constitutional and procedural matters and contribute towards the efficient functioning of the Governing Bodies.

You will be required to provide administrative and organisational support, guidance to ensure that the board works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework, and understand the potential consequences for non-compliance and advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the board.

A good level of education is required together with proven experience of organising meetings, writing agendas, producing accurate and concise minutes and providing advice to a governing body.  Completion of the National Training Programme for Clerks to Governing Bodies would be desirable but a willingness to work towards this would be accepted.

You must be reliable and able to work flexible hours and be available for all meetings and associated events.  Hours will vary but on average approximately 200 hours over the course of the academic year.
