Fulston Manor School A Fulston Manor Academies Trust School

Erasmus+

Fulston Manor School has been awarded funding for a third ERASMUS+ project after being awarded a National and European Quality label for its previous project. The school is now working alongside schools in Czechia, Estonia, Iceland, Lithuania and Spain a project entitled ‘Using ICT to Preserve European Craftsmanship’. Over the course of two academic years, participating students will explore the relationship between craftsmanship and cultural identity, investigating how it plays a crucial role in modern economies and nurtures creativity in young learners.

What will our students get out of it?
  • Possibility of going on a heavily subsidised and possibly even free visit to a foreign country staying in the home of one of the host country's students
  • Experience another culture and visit sites rarely visited by tourists
  • Friendships with students from across Europe
  • Develop an understanding in sustainable technology and the plastics crisis facing our planet
  • Develop foreign language skills
  • An excellent addition to any C.V.
