Salary:       FMAT Band D6 £26,159 p.a. FTE (Pro-rata £17,578 p.a.)

Hours:       37 hours per week Term Time Plus 4 weeks although year-round may be considered

Contract Status: Permanent

Contract Start Date: ASAP

The Trust is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer and HR Assistant to work within the Business Team having sole responsibility for the running of the payroll for the multi academy trust and assisting the Trust HR & Business Director to deliver an efficient HR function.

The most suitable candidate will have strong administrative ability, will have experience of running a payroll ideally using SAGE PAYROLL 50 as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and has the ability to navigate HR matters with integrity and professionalism. They should also be someone who values high quality output and has good attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines are also essential.

There is an expectation with this role that the successful candidate will work some of the “Plus Days” during the April holiday and the August holiday.

Our Trust Business Team supports all schools in the Trust in the areas of finance, payroll, Human Resources, and Facilities. This role will have day to day responsibility for the Trust Payroll reporting into the Trust HR & Business Director.
