GCSE Results Day!
Fulston Manor School is proud to celebrate the achievements of our students as they collect their GCSE and other Level 2 qualifications today. While results day rightly recognises academic outcomes, it is also a moment to celebrate the resilience, effort and determination that so many of our young people have shown throughout their time at school.
Headteacher, Mrs Burden, reflected on the day: “Results day is always an emotional occasion. For some, today brings outstanding grades; for others, the real success lies in the journey they have taken to get here. We should bear in mind that these students started their secondary journey in ‘bubbles’ and having finished Primary School without the usual transition experience. We measure success not only through exam results but also through the character our students have demonstrated – their perseverance, their commitment and their ability to overcome challenges. These qualities will carry them forward in life just as much as any grade.”
Fulston Manor takes pride in recognising that every student’s story is different. Many of this year’s cohort achieved personal triumphs, whether through strong exam performance, significant progress, or the resilience to keep going when faced with difficulties. The school is particularly proud of those students who will now take the next steps into further education, apprenticeships, or employment and of the large number choosing to continue their studies in the Sixth Form.
Whilst all students should be proud of their achievements those below should be congratulated for their performance:
