Year 9 Options Choices Form

This form must be completed carefully and submitted by Monday, 24th February 2025 at the latest.

Please note that students who submit forms after this date may not be able to access all of their option choices in the event that a subject is over-subscribed.

Key Stage 4 Curriculum

In addition to English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Combined Science, Games and PDC (our Core Curriculum) all students must study four additional subjects.

Step One - One subject must be chosen from Option Group A (Geography or History).

Step Two - The remaining three subjects should then be chosen from Option Group B. We recommend that a language (French or Spanish) is chosen as one of your option choices.

Step Three - Finally, two reserve choices must also be made from Option Group B.

Taking an Additional Language at GCSE

Students may be able to take an additional language if they are able to speak, listen, read and write in a language other than French or Spanish. If you think your child may be able to study an additional language, please provide as much detail as possible about the additional language below.
