Three year 10 students recently took part in The Tenner Challenge which was a four week national program run by the Young Enterprise. The boys were given £10 to start-up their business idea and Ben, Jake and Henry decided to run a tuck shop after school. The students bought their sweets wholesale and then sold them off, making a profit of £42.00 which was presented to Katherine Cordrey from Demelza Hospice on Thursday 8th June. Mr Turley, said “The boys really worked hard at this challenge with marketing and selling their items. They gave up time after school to run their shop and enjoyed the whole process. I am very proud of what they achieved”.
