Stanhope student Cameron took part in the Leeds Castle Sprint Triathlon ,on Saturday 24^th June, taking 1^st place in the Youth Category (age 15-16). The Year 10 boy came in with a spectacular time of 1 hour and 25 minutes and came 16^th overall – competing against 552 others. Cameron trains hard each week to compete against the best and enjoyed the 750m swim, 26K cycle ride and 5k run. Mum, Julie, said “ it wears me out just watching!”.

Cameron competes in Biathlons and Triathlons Cameron was recently invited to join the English Talent Programme for Pentathlon GB. He is now on Bronze level and has learned to shoot to add to his growing skills
