Up Up And Away!

As a reward for their efforts in completing their GCSE Geography coursework, two Year 11 students, Rebecca and Rian, together with Miss Singleton, were invited to take a trip with Mr Tiller, flying over the Kent landscape. Meeting pilot Mr Tiller at Rochester airport the geographers were soon airborne – this being Rian’s first flight ever - over Sittingbourne and then down the coast over Faversham, Whitstable and Herne Bay. One of the highlights was to see Reculver, which was the topic of the coursework that Rian and Rebecca had completed. Continuing over the coast as far as Dover before safely landing back at Rochester. Both students thoroughly enjoyed their experience saying “It was amazing, we even flew over our houses and were able to take photographs from the air”.
