Mr Bowden called on every piece of performing arts skills to smile at the end of his charity Tough Mudder run. Taking place on Saturday 23rd September the endurance event saw Fulston's Assistant Headteacher complete the 10 mile long obstacle course which tested his mental and physical strength. Mr Bowden said "I spent five hours making my way around the course, crawling through mud beneath barbed wire, plunging into a skip full of ice cold water and scaling numerous other obstacles along the way. I can't say I enjoyed it but I am really pleased with the fact that I have raised £400. I joined Dartford's Orchard Theatre team and together we have raised in excess of £8000". A muddy good total indeed!
