Top Award For Volunteer Taz
St John's Ambulance volunteer, Tazmin, was delighted to be awarded the Superintendent Shield at an awards ceremony held on Monday 11th December at the St John's Ambulance Hall in Crown Quay Lane, Sittingbourne.
St John's Ambulance volunteer, Tazmin, was delighted to be awarded the Superintendent Shield at an awards ceremony held on Monday 11th December at the St John's Ambulance Hall in Crown Quay Lane, Sittingbourne. The 6th Form student received this top honour in recognition of being the cadet who had made the most progress in a year and is the most hard working. Taz has been a volunteer for a year and has aspirations to follow a career in medicine and so helping out is incredible work experience in the field of first aid. She has volunteered at many events in the last 12 months including Olly Murs and Louisa Johnson concerts and Paws In the Park at Detling Hill. St John's Ambulance Superintendent Peter Hobden said "Tazmin is a fantastic asset to the team" and Tazmin commented "I was really excited when I heard I'd won and it has made me even more determined to take my Advanced First Aid Certificate once I am 18.".
