European Travel On The Horizon For Lucky Students

We have again secured our participation in the amazing Erasmus+ Programme, providing students with opportunities to participate in international educational exchanges. The three year project explores bio-packaging (non-plastic bio-degradable packaging) with schools in Germany, Romania and Greece. During the next three years, a member of staff will visit all of these countries, taking seven students on each visit. Students will be spending a week in a host family home, experiencing life in another country. Each day they will work on the production and marketing of bio-plastics with students in the host school, and alongside students and staff from the participating countries. All travel expenses are paid for by the European Union and will give the students opportunities to visit cultural sites and local attractions.
Mr Matthews is leading the programme and said “This is a fantastic, expense free way for our students to experience a new country, meet new people and make lots of friends along the way. Although it will be hard work we will also have time to enjoy trips to local attractions and have the expert opinions of other school communities”.
In April 2019 there are plans for Fulston to play host to the staff and students from those countries and so planning has already started to make this a memorable visit.
