Fulston Manor School students and staff we more than happy to welcome Mr Dennis Ines, representative for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance to school on Thursday 31st January. Dennis gratefully accepted a cheque to the value of £688.31 which was donated following a number of fund raising events. Year 10 Business Studies students ran a ‘Dragon’s Den’ initiative and staff held a raffle. Money was also raised by students who chose to wear a Christmas Jumper which brought much frivolity to the Christmas Dinner day back in December.
Dennis said “Last year alone, we were called out to help over 2,000 people in life-threatening conditions. We never stop innovating and improving the care we can give, which means every donation we receive is vital so our thanks goes to everyone who took part in the fundraising at the end of last year. Fulston Manor School have supported the Air Ambulance brilliantly and we can’t thank them enough”.
