Students were delighted to watch a performance, entitled ‘Bach To The Future’ by musicians from Kent Music School on Monday 11^th February. The Year 7 audience and their teachers listened to the musicians play various famous extracts from popular music and were entertained by them using random household items to recreate the sounds of a trombone, double bass and a clarinet. A bucket, mop, straws, hose pipe and funnel were used to make the notes which caused much amusement. The Bach To The Future roadshow is an annual event for our Year 7s and is always incredibly well received by students and staff. Hayley Brown said “I really liked the performance because the people who were playing the instruments played all of my favourite movie songs, and all together they were brilliant!”
