A judges’ panel has picked Miss Sittingbourne and her Princesses ahead of this year’s carnival. All three members of the carnival’s court were selected at the annual selection dance on Saturday 9^th March. Each girl spoke on stage to an audience and the panel which included former Miss European England Sophie-Marie Dane. Year 11 Stanhope student Chloe Amey-Ayress and Year 9 Cromer student Yazmin Lewis were chosen as joint Sittingbourne Princesses. Liz Swan, chair of Sittingbourne Carnival Association, said “They are a lovely court and I am very much looking forward to working with them in the forthcoming year”.
