On Wednesday 15th May, a group of Year 8 students went to the University of Kent to attend a World War One Study day. They joined students from other schools from across Kent to listen, discuss and learn about many different aspects of World War One which has enhanced their school studies. Students analysed cartoons from the War, found out about what happened in the Middle East and considered the German perspective on the war. Mrs Wisbey, who led the trip, said “All of the students worked really hard and learnt a great deal from the experience”.
