Calorie watching went straight out of the staff room window on Thursday 26th September when funds were raised during the MacMillan Great British Coffee Morning. Staff found their inner Prue Leith and baked some amazing creations in aid of this worthy cause. From carrot cakes and chocolate cake to coffee and walnut and chocolate orange cakes, the naughty but nice delicacies were gobbled up during break and lunch time by hungry teachers and support staff and a grand total of £97.09 was donated. Mrs Goodger, Pastoral Assistant for Hales House said “the day has been a huge success. Sadly one of our colleagues, Mrs Stanley, was not in school today so didn’t get to see her donations appreciated. I want to thank everyone who baked, ate or donated!”.
