Hales student Owen recently took part in a 48 mile ride along with his Dad, Paul, and managed to raise a whopping £543 for The Princes Trust by cycling from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle. Owen frequently enters Biathlons and Triathlons but he does enjoy the competitiveness he has with his father. He said “ Dad and I are always competing against each other and even though this event should have been very ‘laid back’ we still wanted to beat the others time”. As it happened, both father and son crossed the finish line together so all was good in the Hollands household that evening.
