Kyla Gets Her Skates On!
Year 10 student Kyla Simmons has recently taken part in a national Roller skating competition. Kyle competed in the artistic skating competition in Kettering on the 25th July and was placed 8th out of 13 in her solo, her duo I came 6th out of 13 and her team came 8th out of 18 which was a fantastic achievement.
Kyla said “My whole family have done roller skating starting with my great grandad, my nan, my mum, my aunt and many more. My great grandad even took his skates to Burma with him in the war and taught the local people there to skate!” We look forward to watching how Kyla’s skating career progresses. Well done that girl!
