FMS Supports Ukraine Crisis Appeal

Fulston Manor has joined the many other schools around Kent in requesting, receiving, sorting and now delivering donations for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. With some expert packing skills, the school minibus was filled to the rafters using every square inch of space.  Mrs Burden had asked staff and parents to donate from a long list of wanted items and, together with the use of Social Media, the deliveries filled the conference room.

Mrs Burden said “Staff were joined by 6th Form students in sorting the donations into similar categories and then teachers, Mr Deeks and Mr Hadler, drove the haul to Folkestone to offload at the collection centre. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our staff and parents together with the general public and it was, and continues to be, a humbling experience for Fulston to play a very small part in helping those suffering. We are still open for donations and are acting as a collection point for Swale, we will be taking part in another drop off to Folkestone very soon”
