On Saturday 14th January, Fulston Manor Swimming Team made the long trek to Margate to join 43 other schools in the Secondary School Competition.  Unfortunately, the sea air did not provide healing properties, with Cameron and Lewis having to pull out after the warm up.

Those left standing fought like champions, and the girls brought home medals - Margo in the 200m Individual Medley and Niamh in her 100m Freestyle event - not bad for her first time stepping up to the plate for Fulston. Suranne deserves mention for taking part in her first competition and swimming a really good time, in spite of nerves. Lots of team support and parents stepping up to make the arduous journey and support the swimmers. Special appreciation for Cameron and Edward who both have a 4 year record for being part of the team.

For the first time in 4 years, Mrs Osoba who runs the club, had to turn some Year 7 students down as she had so much interest in taking part.
