Bude is an adventure holiday in which students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of adventurous activities including: mountain boarding; canoeing; high ropes; climbing; surfing; kayaking; abseiling; mountain biking; caving; body boarding and a team trail.
Fulston Manor School are delighted to be running a trip to Adventure International, Bude, The trip will happen from Sunday 19th July to Friday 24th July 2020 and there are only 48 places available!
Adventure International is a multi-activity centre which has been running since 1979. It is set in Bude, a small town on the north east coast of Cornwall, which overlooks the sea, river and canal and has an impressive 140 foot abseil wall.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of adventurous activities including: mountain boarding; canoeing; high ropes; climbing; surfing; kayaking; dragon boating; abseiling; mountain biking; caving; body boarding and a team trail.
As you can see from the pictures below, our students have great fun and are hugely talented!!!!
The cost of the trip for 2020 will be £415 with a deposit of £65.
• Return travel by executive coach
• 5 nights full board accommodation
• Activities (2 per day)
• A range of evening activities
• In resort representative and 24 hours emergency service
The students will be supervised within the complex for 24 hours a day by Fulston Manor staff as well as a dedicated tutor of Adventure International. There is a fun packed rota for the day, which will allow students to gain a greater independence, improve team work and communication skills, take up challenges and try activities they have never done before and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!!!
The daily itinerary includes:
- Early morning run or swim
- Morning activity
- Afternoon activity
- Meeting with tutor
- Evening activity
- Bed time
The activities will be a great opportunity for the students to bond and build on their strengths, but they will also have a range of activities packed into their evenings. These include a Welcome Disco, Karaoke, Fancy Dress, Tug of War, Talent Night, 5 a-side Football and most important of all, a Presentation Night.
This fancy dress theme night is always a great success and last year our students transformed into fantastic cartoon characters. It would be great if all students got involved this year!!!!
Please contact Mr Rayfield (trip leader) if you have any questions. Deposits of £60 should be paid to the finance office as soon as possible and you will receive confirmation as to whether a place has been secured. If there are no positions available, your name will be added to a reserve list.
