We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Business Studies with excellent subject
knowledge. The successful candidate will join the school’s highly successful and enthusiastic
Business Department working and collaborating with an exceptionally dedicated and talented team
of practitioners.

 Somebody who works well with staff and pupils alike
 Strong classroom management skills
 Knowledge of Business and Financial Studies at KS5
 Someone keen to make a difference to the lives of young people

 Someone ready to work with young people both in lessons and as a tutor

The Business Studies Department is proud of the fact that it is one of the most popular subjects in
the school and offers a range of certificated courses, including Business Studies and Finance at GCSE.
For Key Stage 5 we offer AQA A Level Applied Business as well as Edexcel A Level Business. In
addition to our A Level Business qualifications we have been successful in delivering the London Institute of Banking and Finance Qualifications in Key Stage 5 (legacy course ending this academic year).

The Sixth Form Business Studies students not only use local business for research to complete
assignments, but have, for several years, taken part in local competitions, e.g. BASE, Business, Accounting and Skills Education Competition which has proved very successful.


Fulston Manor is a heavily over-subscribed non-selective school in Sittingbourne, Kent, this success
is based on the quality of our staff and the excellence of our induction and support programmes. The
school offers an outstanding learning environment for all its students.
