Head of Department Guidance
Students need to be able to sing or play an instrument to a reasonable standard. If they do not already play an instrument they must be keen to learn one. The Performing Arts Department can organise instrument/ vocal lessons on a range of instruments.
As senior Music students, it is expected that all students on the course will attend at least one of our extra-curricular ensembles on a weekly basis and take part in a range of performances throughout the year.
Students must dedicate sufficient time to rehearse their chosen instrument, or voice, daily and attend additional performance sessions and rehearsals when necessary.
